Job Description

As a Mid-level OpenShift Engineer L1 Support, you will provide first‑line support for OpenShift clusters, handling incidents, service requests, and routine maintenance while learning and applying container platform concepts. You will ensure proper ticket management and escalation to L2 teams as needed.


What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed


  • Monitor cluster health, categorise incidents, and perform basic troubleshooting following runbooks.
  • Prioritise incidents, provide status updates, and communicate clearly with users and team members.
  • Assist with service requests such as access provisioning and software installations using templates.
  • Document issues and resolutions in the knowledge base and assist in maintaining configuration records.
  • Escalate complex problems to L2 support, following the defined escalation process.
