Operations Assistant

Overview

Truckstops, a subsidiary of Sime Motors, is seeking an Operations Assistant/Class 5 Truck Driver to support the Service Department. The role involves delivering trucks, managing vehicle movements, and assisting with general departmental duties.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver trucks to customers and subcontractors.
• Ensure safe vehicle movements and vehicle grooming.
• Support general duties of the service department as needed.

Qualifications

• Hold a Class 5 license and have experience driving a range of trucks.
• Ideally possess a DG license.
• Excellent verbal communication skills for face‑to‑face and phone conversations.
• Demonstrate a commitment to customer service and a can‑do attitude.
• Display a positive attitude, team mentality, and sense of humour.
