Job Description
Our client is a well established manufacturing and distribution business with specialist manufacturing expertise in the packaging and related industry sectors. Due to ongoing restructure and development, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced Operations Director for their regional site in the Home Counties area.
The role will report at Senior Executive level and you will have full P&L responsibility for the site working closely with the Managing Director and Executive Team.
Qualifications
- Previous experience of operations/production management in a similar business, preferably with knowledge of International Supply Chain and Inventory.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Ambition and desire to develop further in the role.
- Conversant with LEAN production techniques.
- Experience in project management.
