Senior commodity engineer with extensive experience in managing electronic component quality. Must have experience working directly with suppliers to drive quality improvement activities through defect monitoring, reporting, corrective action processes, and supplier audits. Responsibilities
Document, maintain and improve implementation of processes. Provide advanced technical expertise for production or customer‑identified material problems. Maintain quality of materials to ensure cost and delivery targets are met. Visit suppliers to evaluate their process controls and reliability programs. Provide quality and reliability performance data to suppliers and internal management team. Perform supplier assessments/risk analysis and make recommendations regarding supplier selection.
