Operations Manager
Weldco Heavy Industries, a Division of Fort McKay Metis Group (WHI) is a large steel fabrication and repair facility located in the Fort McKay Caribou Energy Park. Strategically positioned in the heart of Alberta’s Oil Sands, WHI is able to effectively meet the requirements for large steel repair, assembly and refurbishment in the industry.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager will provide leadership and direction for the operations team of the WHI, Fort McKay facility. The operations manager will be responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient, and profitable operation while achieving the goals and objectives of the business plan, using the organization’s vision and mission statements to guide and measure progress.
