- Design aerial and underground fiber optic networks including FTTH, FTTx, backbone, and distribution systems.
- Prepare detailed construction drawings, route maps, splicing diagrams, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Conduct field surveys and feasibility assessments to determine optimal network routing and infrastructure requirements.
- Perform Make-Ready Engineering (MRE) and pole loading analysis to ensure structural compliance for aerial deployments.
- Coordinate with utility companies, municipalities, and permitting agencies to secure required approvals and permits.
- Ensure designs comply with OSHA, NESC, and applicable local/state regulations.
- Review and interpret civil, utility, and right-of-way (ROW) drawings to support network design.
