Cando seeks a Switchperson to ensure safe rail car operations at diverse customer sites. Your role will involve operating various rail equipment and conducting detailed inspections while complying with safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure safe locomotive operation through thorough briefings
• Apply switching rules and manage equipment operations
• Conduct daily inspections of locomotives and report issues
• Maintain detailed logs and documentation
• Facilitate a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 or GED required
• Experience in industrial operations is an advantage
• Class 5 driver's license is beneficial
