Job Description
Mission
Lead the innovation and standardization strategy for a category of packaging materials (e.g., cardboard/fiber or rigid/flexible plastics), ensuring a balance between sustainability, performance, cost, and machinability. You will be the key contact for defining material roadmaps, commercializing new solutions, and ensuring the pack‑machine fit on high‑speed production lines. The activities will be performed at several plants of the group in Europe depending on the project.
Main Responsibilities
- Category strategy & roadmap: Define and execute a materials plan (innovation, cost‑out, light‑weighting, sustainability/regulation), aligned with R&D, Operations, Sustainability and Business.
- Materials development & industrialization: Conduct scouting and proofs‑of‑concept; scale to plant with formal validations (FAT/SAT/VAT, industrial trials, line trials, run‑at‑rate), ensuring pack‑to‑machine fit on high‑speed lines.
