Job Description

Here’s what you’ll deliver:

  • Review repair orders before beginning work on vehicles.
  • Analyze, assess and evaluate the exterior paint condition of various motor vehicles and select appropriate corrective action or method of repair.
  • Identify and remove layers of sub-coatings by using abrasives, solvents or chemicals.
  • Remove damaged bolt on parts using wrenches when required.
  • Repair out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers.
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams
  • Ensure all vehicles scheduled to be painted are masked and covered.
  • Repair the exterior of the vehicle with sanding, mudding, or any other blemishment repair techniques required to apply paint. 
  • Ability to work in adherence to company safety standards at all times.
  • Comply with all company policies, standards and procedures.
