Paralegal

Public Sector People are looking for a Paralegal to join a collaborative Legal Services team within a local government organisation on a 12-month contract

Reporting to the General Counsel and supporting the in-house Solicitors, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient delivery of legal services across Council.

• Providing legal support to in-house Solicitors.
• Conducting legal research and analysis, including legislation, policy and case law.
• Assisting with the preparation of legal advice, correspondence, reports and briefing materials.
• Managing legal files, records and document control processes.
• Supporting the development of legal procedures, protocols and training materials.
• Assisting with statutory and organisational reporting requirements.

About you:

• Completion of, or current enrolment in, a Certificate III in Legal Services or an equivalent qualification.
