Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Support the execution and food preparation in accordance to the Executive Chef's recipes and specifications.
  • Ability to execute different cooking methods, processes and techniques with a variety of ingredients and equipment.
  • Ensure the handling of raw ingredient is in line with food hygiene and safety guidelines.
  • Support in the preparation of desserts such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread, etc.
  • Assist in decorating the pastries using different icings, toppings, to ensure they are aligned with Pastry Chef's direction.
  • Monitor kitchen ingredients and stocks and inform the kitchen team if orders need to be placed.
  • Check the quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking.
  • Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards.
