NYU London is currently recruiting for a part-time lecturer to teach Introduction to Web Design and Computer Principles, a course sponsored by the College of Arts & Science at New York University. Teaching commences in the autumn term (Sept-Dec 2025).
Course Description:
This course introduces students to both the practice of web design and the basic principles of computer science. The practice component of the course covers not only web design but also current graphics and software tools. The principles section includes an overview of hardware and software, the history of computers, and a discussion of the impact of computers and the internet.
Upon completion of this course, students will:
+ Students will develop foundational coding skills in web design, including HTML, CSS, and an introduction to JavaScript
