  • Prepare and produce a variety of pastries, desserts, cakes, and baked goods according to standard recipes and quality standards
  • Assist in daily pastry kitchen operations including mise en place, preparation, baking, and finishing
  • Ensure consistent product quality, presentation, taste, and portion control
  • Follow hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with GMP/HACCP requirements
  • Monitor and manage ingredient usage, stock levels, and report shortages to senior chefs
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of pastry section, equipment, and workstation at all times
  • Support new product development and seasonal menu creation when required
  • Assist in training and guiding junior kitchen staff or commis
