Lead payroll excellence as the Payroll Supervisor with Orla Mining in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Ensure timely payroll service while supervising a dedicated team and developing their careers.
In this supervisory role, you will oversee daily payroll operations and fine-tune procedures to maintain accuracy. With 6-8 years of payroll experience and a minimum of 3 years supervising teams, you’ll manage payroll adjustments, ensure compliance, and enhance departmental training. Your leadership will help foster communication with stakeholders, aiding in the smooth flow of payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise payroll specialists and guide their professional development
• Coordinate all payroll activities to ensure operational efficiency
• Serve as a senior contact for payroll inquiries with exceptional service
• Process bi-weekly, monthly, and year-end payrolls accurately
• Prepare and file tax reports with government and third-party agencies
