Overview

Join a collegial team of General Pediatricians at the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia (UHNBC) in Prince George, British Columbia. The department includes an experienced Pediatric Cardiologist and serves a wide geographical area of approximately 600,000 km and a population of about 400,000. The hospital houses a Level II B NICU with twelve single rooms, as well as a pediatric ward with parental sleeping space.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD/DO) and board certification in Pediatrics.
• Competent in Level II B neonatal intensive care.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient care for general pediatric patients and NICU neonates.
• Service on night call (home call) for neonatal and general pediatric emergencies.
• Serve as the Attending Pediatrician for the Pediatric and Neonatal ICU Clinical Teaching Unit for one week at a time.
