Care Assistant for a teenage boy, part‑time, starting at £15/hour in BS40 – Bristol – BS40.
Finn is a joyful 14-year-old living in the Chew Valley. He is full of laughter and mischief and is very gregarious and friendly. He loves being outside, car/bus journeys, animals, driving his powerchair, water, music, baking, arts/crafts and people watching! When possible he likes sailing, kayaking, horse‑riding and climbing! He needs help with all of these passions because of his cerebral palsy.
Responsibilities
- Evening care – once or twice a week, between about 4 pm–8.30 pm. This would include feeding, bath and bedtime routines at home, but could also involve some entertainment, play, trips out and about etc.
- Daytime care on some weekends and in school holidays – anything from a couple of hours up to a full day; we are flexible and will work with you to find an arrangement that suits you and Finn. This would most likely include taking Finn out an...
