Qualifications:
- Preferably a fur parent who is passionate about animal welfare.
- Bachelor's degree (any field) or experience in animal science, veterinary medicine, or retail, particularly in pet care, is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills are required.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting the right pet products such as food, treats, toys, and accessories based on their pet’s needs
- Provide basic advice on pet care, nutrition, grooming, and health
- Ensure proper handling and care of animals in-store (feeding, cleaning cages, monitoring health)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including pet enclosures and shelves
