- Drug Therapy Monitoring: Reviewing patient medication profiles to identify potential drug interactions, contraindications, or therapeutic duplications and working to resolve them.
- Collaboration with Healthcare Providers: Communicating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to clarify prescriptions, recommend alternative therapies, and optimize patient medication plans.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing pharmacies and controlled substances.
