PhD Research Fellows in Sociology

Position Overview

2 vacant research fellow positions (SKO 1017) in sociology at the Department of Sociology and Human Geography. Appointment terms are either three years without compulsory work or four years with 25% compulsory work, primarily teaching.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent research under supervision in accordance with submitted project proposals.
• Actively participate in the Faculty of Social Sciences’ research education programme (PhD programme) and complete a doctorate in sociology.
• Contribute to the academic environment and study programmes within the department, including participation in departmental life.
• Engage in teaching duties when employed under the 25% compulsory work option.

Qualifications and Assessment Criteria

• Master’s degree in sociology or equivalent.
