You will assist with troubleshooting, training, and recommending workflow improvements to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient laboratory operations for a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities
+ Perform blood draws using both straight needles and butterfly needles, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
+ Collect and store blood, urine, fecal, and other specimens according to established procedures and protocols.
+ Clearly and courteously explain venipuncture and other specimen collection procedures to patients before and during the process.
+ Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes to ensure accurate identification and traceability.
