About the Role: Assist in developing and testing optical components such as filters, LEDs, and waveguides for sensor systems. Work on simulating and aligning photonic paths in lab setups.
Key Responsibilities
- Simulate and design optical waveguides
- Assist in photonic testing setups (lasers, LEDs)
- Analyze light signals and sensor outputs
- Perform calibration and adjustments for accuracy
- Document test results and device performance
Core Skills
- Photonics or optics coursework
- Familiarity with Lumerical, Zemax, or COMSOL
