Job Summary



The OB/GYN Laborist Role A is an in-house position which ensures that safe, high quality, evidence-based care is provided to obstetric patients and that hospital resources are managed in a clinically appropriate way. In sites where residents and/or medical students are present this may include resident supervision and education. The OB/GYN Laborist Role A is the primary, first line provider who is expected to be immediately available and present during the entirety of their shift.ASSIGNMENT: 24 Hour In-House Call Coverage ProgramLOCATION: High volume labor and delivery units (>3,000 deliveries per year)
