Job Description
The Pipeline Engineer provides engineering design, analysis, and field support for natural gas transmission pipelines and associated facilities, including measurement and pressure regulation stations. This role oversees third-party engineering firms and supports projects from initial development through construction, testing, commissioning, and closeout to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable pipeline systems.
Responsibilities
Lead and support pipeline design and engineering activities in accordance with applicable federal regulations and industry standards, including 49 CFR 192 and 49 CFR 195.
Perform and support class location studies, maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP) verification, wall thickness design, and High Consequence Area (HCA) evaluations.
