Planner, Long Term

Position Summary

Carries out long-term workforce planning and logistics for functional departments in Fleet Operations. Follows operational guidelines and directives from Fleet Operations and the functional SME.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Provides long-term manpower plans (schedules) for departments and/or positions as assigned.
• Design and implement the right optimization solutions for crew scheduling needs of fleet operations.
• Interpret and use data to suggest improvements on long term and short term planning.
• Provide recommendation to solve potential planning issues, perform root cause analysis when necessary.
• Design and implement process controls, generate, set up and execute continuous improvement ideas.
• Provides functional areas within Fleet Operations with systematic information supporting an effective par level planning process and related procedures.
