About This Opportunity The Plant Buyer is responsible for executing purchases for plant operating supplies and plant maintenance requirements, monitoring maintenance spare part inventory levels and replenishing as required. The role contributes to improving longer‑term KPM results through leading and supporting various improvement initiatives. 
Responsibilities Inventory organization and control – track maintenance spare part and operational supply inventories and maintain accuracy of the inventory database in SAP. 
Inventory optimization – analyze spare part and operating supply inventory targets regularly to optimize levels, considering part availability, cost, importance to the operation, usage history, lead times, and plant usage.
