Plumber

This position will provide professional Plumbing Services to the York Community, primarily focused to work in Housing & Conference Services, Ancillary Services.

Education

• Current Ontario Certificate of Qualifications as a Plumber is required. Gas fitter licence is an asset.
• Successful applicant must obtain a W.H.M.I.S. certificate prior to the completion of the probationary or trial period.
• Must hold a valid Ontario drivers licence (Class 'G') in good standing

Experience

• Minimum 5 years' recent directly related experience within the plumbing trade.
• Experience in both general construction and maintenance of commercial-type installations preferred.
• Experience in testing, relocating, repairing and servicing backflow prevention devices is preferred
