Hours Per Week: No Hours Assigned
Work Schedule: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Summary:
A sleep technologist works under the general supervision of the Director, Cardio Pulmonary and Medical Imaging Services, to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in center and out of center sleep testing, diagnostic and therapeutic intervention, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education.
Responsibilities:
+ Verifies patient identity using two identifiers.
+ Maintains a clean working environment with clean electrodes and equipment.
+ Follows standard precautions as dictated by hospital policy.
+ Attends to the patients needs appropriately.
