Job Description
Mission
Our group is a curiosity-driven experimental biophysics lab aiming to understand how fluid flows and mechanical properties emerge from the collective activity of molecular assemblies in living cells. We also investigate the biophysical mechanisms by which cells sense, adapt, and respond to their environment. We study free-living unicellular organisms as model systems. Using microscopy, quantitative measurements, and molecular perturbations, we seek to identify the physical principles and cell biological mechanisms underlying the continuum properties of living matter.
We are an interdisciplinary group and welcome researchers from diverse backgrounds, including physics, biophysics, cell biology, biochemistry, and engineering. We welcome applications from Postdoctoral candidates who are interested in developing their independent research ideas aligned with our broader scientific vision.
