Select Genetics is the leading supplier of poults to growers and companies across North America and has operations in eight states.
The Service Room Technician
+ Assists in unloading boxes of poults onto the Gender Tech Wheel;
+ Clips the poult’s talons;
+ Performs Dew-claw treatment;
+ Performs De-snoot treatment;
+ Checks the customers’ orders to see what medication is requested for the poults;
+ Injects the poults with medication using the PSP machines;
+ Separates the toms and the hens, placing them in the correct box;
+ Move boxes of poults after servicing in preparation for shipment;
+ Rotates between positions;
+ Performs some sanitation duties to ensure a safe and clean environment.
