Job Description

Elevation have the pleasure of working with a Sheet Metal Fabrication business based in the Huddersfield. This company are looking for a Powder Coating Operative to join their well-established team.

Salary: £24,000

Location: Huddersfield

Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4:15pm and 6:45am - 12:45pm on a Friday

Duties of a Powder Coating Operative:

  • Cleaning and preparation of all metalwork prior to coating to include bunging of holes
  •  Following procedures and working to schedules
  •  Maintaining the required quality of all items passing through the coating process
  •  Maintain all the equipment on the Powder Coating line to include Gema spray guns and setting the automated reciprocator system.
  •  Spraying a variety of components with Gema equipment
  •  Hanging parts on the conveyorized line in the most efficient manner
