Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and perform maintenance on all chillers, cooling towers, steam boilers, hot water boilers and their auxiliary and ancillary equipment, promptly respond to their alarms, troubleshoot, and fix or isolate issues.
- Work independently and exercise sound judgment during stressful times.
- Clean and maintain cooling towers, chiller tubes, and fire chambers of hot water and steam boilers.
- Perform maintenance on air compressors, air dryers, actuators, regulators, valves, and airlines as required.
- Act as first responder to fire alarms and other emergency codes, including fire alarm panels and related equipment upon the request of the Fire Marshall.
- Respond to elevator troubles, initiate elevator service for breakdowns and entrapments, and inform the Supervisor of any emergency service.
