This role performs basic preventative maintenance and minor repairs to all types of equipment, documents equipment status before and after rental (including work order detail during repair), communicates equipment issues to customers, foreman, and supporting mechanics.
Performs yard operations, loads and unloads equipment, performs check-in inspections and fuels equipment as needed.
Assists with party inventory and assists with creating warranty claims for the equipment serviced, as needed.
Commissions new equipment to prepare it to be ready to rent.
Adjusts various types of equipment to prepare it to be ready to rent.
Assists with set up and delivery of equipment systems in the shop operations and to customer jobsites.
Assists more experienced technicians with the delivery and installation of rented Power, HVAC/DH, Compressed Air, Pump Systems and other equipment types.
Documents projects to include daily notes, labor logs, progress reports, JSS...
