Job Description
Main Objective:
- Handle and expedite all customs clearance documentation processes for air freight shipments, ensuring full compliance with Indonesian customs regulations and maintaining smooth operational workflows at the airport customs office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and process customs declarations, including PIB (Pemberitahuan Impor Barang) and PEB (Pemberitahuan Ekspor Barang) via the EDI/CEISA system
- Classify commodities accurately according to the Indonesian Customs Tariff Book (BTKI) and determine correct HS Codes
- Coordinate closely with customs officers, quarantine authorities, and warehouse operators at the airport to facilitate physical inspections or X-ray checks
- Monitor and track the status of customs documents, handling obstacles such as red channels, fiscal valuation adjustments (notul), or document revisions immediately
