Job Description

Job Description:

  • API 510 or ASME Section VIII and CSWIP 3.1 certified or have comprehensive knowledge and experience of 10 years in pressure vessel inspection at refineries or petrochemical plants.

  • Capable of performing internal and external inspection of pressure vessels during shutdown and turnaround phases.

  • Knows the difference between various forms of corrosion and degradation mechanisms applicable to refinery vessels.

  • Shall administer Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT) and witness NDE activities.

  • Shall witness hydrostatic and pneumatic testing of pressure vessels and interpret results.

  • Shall measure wall thickness using UT meters and perform pit depth measurement and defect area sizing.

  • Shall of performing welding inspection including fit-up, pre-heat, inter-pass, and post-weld activities.
