Primary Tutor

Overview

Here at the Specialist SEND Group, we’re supporting learners in Leigh and surrounding areas with engagement in education and core academic skills. We are looking for a Primary Tutor to work with students on SEND/SEMH backgrounds, including those at risk of exclusion, anxious school non-attenders, or with complex needs.

Utilising a bespoke curriculum, our tutors create fun and engaging lesson plans around the child and their interests. We prioritise building positive relationships and lifting confidence amongst our cohort, ultimately guiding them back into education.

Work location: Leigh area. Job type: Part-time. Salary: £25 - £30 GBP / Year. These learners have variable hours, with potential to be assigned to additional referrals via our Specialist SEND Tutoring service.
