Principal Engineer

Position Overview

We are looking for a Principal Engineer for Search Infrastructure within Autodesk Platform Services. In this role, you will help to build a modern and scalable Search Platform that powers the search experiences across Autodesk’s Industry Clouds – Fusion, Forma and Flow.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and operations of highly scalable, distributed, data intensive micro-services
• Champion adopting industry best practices to push development standards within the team
• Partner with Software Architects, Product Managers and Engineering Managers to design technical solutions that drive business outcomes
• Help meet SLAs of large‑scale micro‑services with monitoring, troubleshooting and optimizations
• Lead detection, recovery and post‑mortems of production incidents
