Job Description
Own major product development projects from concept to launch, define product architectures, and champion design reviews and standards adoption.
Develops industry leading residential and light commercial HVACequipment through, but not limited to, the use of Computer Aided Engineering procedures such as 1D and 2D simulations, CFD, FEA, 2D and 3D designs.
Development leadership continues through prototyping, test methoddevelopment, process improvements, data quality protocols, field trials, documentation of designs and safe production launch procedures. Mentoring of junior engineers and technicians is also expected. Day to Day Tasks (primary responsibilities): ∙Own major product development programs; define system architectures and trade-offs (cost, performance, reliability).
