Job Description

Principal Weight Control Engineer

The Principal Weight Control Engineer is responsible for monitoring, analysing, and managing weight and center of gravity (CoG) data for projects to ensure compliance with design requirements, safety criteria, and client specifications. The role leads the preparation, review, and maintenance of weight control reports, databases, and registers, tracking changes throughout the project lifecycle.

In addition to performing advanced weight impact assessments, the Principal Weight Control Engineer coordinates with structural, mechanical, piping, and other disciplines to ensure weight growth is controlled and properly documented. The position also provides technical guidance to engineers and graduates, supports risk assessments related to lifting, transportation, and installation, and plays a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and cost‑effective project execution in line with Ranhill Worley’s standards.
