Job Description
The successful candidate will perform process geochemistry duties to characterize, manage and optimize the geothermal resource while ensuring compliance with safety standards, applicable regulations and world-class standards.
The Role
- Performs evaluation and provides advice and technical assistance on issues concerning geochemistry processes
- Provides timely solutions to day-to-day process geochemistry concerns such as steam quality, non-condensable gases, scaling, and corrosion
- Conducts regular evaluations, prepares technical reports, and approves chemistry data used in report preparations
- Recommends operational changes, chemical treatments, or process improvements to maintain the integrity of wellbores and surface equipment
- Works with different teams to provide geochemistry insights that help maintain or enhance steam availability and injection capacity
