Procurement Buyer

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Procurement Buyer role based in Penang, Malaysia. The Procurement Buyer will manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including sourcing materials, requesting and evaluating quotations, and negotiating prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers. The role involves preparing and processing purchase orders, maintaining accurate procurement records, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support ongoing interior design and construction projects. The Procurement Buyer will monitor inventory levels, coordinate with project and site teams to understand material requirements, and resolve any supply issues or discrepancies. The role also includes assessing supplier performance, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and supporting cost optimization and quality standards across all procurement activities.
