Job Summary Responsible for managing procurement and logistics activities for manufacturing facilities, including supporting group purchasing initiatives, overseeing import and export shipments, and ensuring timely supply to support production and delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities Manage sourcing of direct and indirect materials and services, including supplier contract management, commercial negotiations, and support for group purchasing initiatives. Develop and manage local and overseas supplier relationships, including price and contract negotiations. Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply, quality, and delivery issues. Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage purchasing and logistics costs. Oversee import and export shipments and ensure compliance with shipping and customs requirements. Ensure materials meet quality standards and comply with company policies. Review and analyse purchasing, inventory, and shipment reports.
