Job Description

The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing goods and services required by the organization. The role ensures cost-effective procurement, timely delivery, supplier quality, and compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.

Procurement – Duties & Responsibilities

1. Supplier Sourcing

  • Identify and evaluate external suppliers and service providers
  • Find cost-effective and reliable outsourcing partners
  • Maintain an approved supplier list

2. Vendor Evaluation & Selection

  • Request and compare quotations (RFQ/RFP)
  • Assess suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, and capability
  • Conduct basic supplier due diligence

3. Contract & Negotiation

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and service levels
  • Support contract preparation and agreement finalization
