Procurement Specialist

This role is responsible for ensuring that all sourcing strategies are successfully executed at the BU level.  That includes co-ordination of the required projects; e.g. Inventory optimization; Procurement digitization, etc.  
Ensure strategies are informed through data and analytics and oversight and execution of the required Procurement Processes i.e. RFP and Tenders

Key Activities

• Category management (Medium and straight forward commodities/services)


• Strategic Sourcing - Develop an internal category profile defining Total Cost of Ownership, procurement processes, spend profiles and associated risks


• Develop an industry and supplier profiles, including understanding the industry dynamics, potential suppliers and industry and supplier financials


• Contract Management - manage contract negotiations, contract drafting and on-going performance management resulting from the contract
