Job Overview
Responsible for supervising procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing of materials, equipment, and services needed for mining operations. Oversees supplier performance, purchasing processes, inventory coordination, and compliance with company policies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
- At least 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in mining, construction, or heavy industry
- At least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Experience in sourcing mining equipment, spare parts, and operational supplies
- Knowledge of purchasing, vendor management, and contract negotiation
- Familiar with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
- Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- High attention to detail and integrity
