Job Summary

BBC Studios is hiring a North West based Producer/Director to work on Appeal film content for Children in Need, starting early September. The role is for a creative storyteller with a strong record of producing short‑form films that engage audiences, drive impact, and bring powerful human stories to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, develop and produce short‑form content for digital and broadcast platforms.


• Produce and direct high quality interviews, actuality and contributor‑led sequences.


• Build strong relationships with contributors and stakeholders, ensuring sensitive and ethical storytelling throughout production.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Producer or Director creating short‑form factual, documentary, charity or social impact content.
