Job Description

What You Will Do

  • Review and interpret customer design requirements from Marketing, Sales or Customer drawings or specifications.
  • Provide preliminary design feasibility review per customer requirements.
  • Create CAD design models, sales and engineering drawings, and other design specifications.
  • Conduct design reviews to determine feasibility of design and design for manufacturability.
  • Release final design specifications for tooling design and development.
  • Establish test specification plan for product reliability testing.
  • Support tooling engineers in disposing First Article inspection reports.
  • Approve or disapprove product deviation requests.
  • Review engineering verification samples, documents and test reports for customer approval.
  • Provide design support for product modifications and/or extensions.
