Key Responsibilities
Product Development & Formulation
- Develop and improve formulations for construction chemical products including tile adhesives, grouts, sealants, waterproofing, and concrete admixtures
- Design and conduct laboratory experiments to test new raw materials and formulations
- Adapt global Mapei product formulations to meet local climate conditions, raw material availability, and regulatory standards
- Evaluate and qualify new raw material suppliers
Testing & Quality
- Perform physical and chemical testing on prototypes and production samples
- Analyse test data, interpret results, and prepare technical reports
- Ensure products meet relevant regional and international standards (e.g. SS, BS, EN, ASTM)
- Support QC/QA in resolving product complaints and non-conformances
