Role Objective
Own the functional product vision and backlog during Workday implementations, ensuring business requirements are translated into deployable, scalable solutions aligned with implementation timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the functional owner during the implementation lifecycle:
Discovery
Design
Build
Test
Deploy
Drive design decisions aligned with Workday best practices (avoid over-customisation)
Partner with:
Functional consultants
Integration teams
Client stakeholders
Lead design workshops and solution validation sessions
Ensure readiness for:
Conference Room Pilots (CRPs)
UAT cycles
Go-live
Manage scope, prioritise features, and control scope creep during implementation
Act as an escalation point for functional decisions during deployment
