Production Assembly

Job Summary

Precision soldering and component assembly under a microscope, test standard products made of fibre-optic assemblies, and to produce/assist creating new work instructions for their production. Assemble and test electronic components and PCBs.

Duties & Responsibilities

• With the use of a microscope, manufacture and align electronic-optical assemblies according to manufacturing work instructions.
• Build fibre-optic assemblies using fine materials such as optical fibers, lenses, glass tubes, metal parts, epoxy adhesives, and other related materials.
• Prepare fibre-optic cable and add terminations when required.
• Configure and test electronic/fibre-optic modules.
• Able to follow all work instructions and procedures.
• Maintain the working environment in a clean and proper arrangement.
