Production Assistant

Production Assistant position available in Clanwilliam.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Production Manager with the day-to-day management of table grape production.
• Support the planting and establishment of table grape vineyards.
• Monitor and manage irrigation scheduling.
• Assist with fertilizer application and crop nutrition programmes.
• Support pest and disease monitoring and control activities.
• Assist with pruning, harvesting, and other crop manipulation activities.
• Monitor crop performance and production processes to ensure quality standards are met.
• Assist with labour planning, scheduling, and workforce management.
• Maintain production and operational records.
• Coordinate transport and accommodation arrangements for workers when required.
• Assist with the maintenance of equipment, orchards, and general farm infrastructure.
